Hi All

I need to pick up 2 TTs to tide me over for 6 months before I move country. I'm not spending a lot of cash because I'll be selling the TTs in 6 months. I need something to start playing around with at home.

Are the Numark TT1520 any good for this? There's a special on them at the moment, so I can pick them up fairly cheaply.

Do not buy those tables they are absolute junk.

If your just looking for something to hold you over then just get the TT-100's($190 USD). They are much better for not much more $$$. Plus you will be more likely to sell them later.

Or maybe the Gemini PT-2100's.($220 USD)

Or the Stanton STR8-60's ($175 USD)

All of these tables are much better then the TT-1520's, however they are nowhere near as good as the 'ol SL-1210 mk2.

Don't buy the stanton's either. I've used them and some of my friends have complained about them. The TT100's are better. Not only that, but straight arms will ruin the vinyl faster.
