I have a question in the same line as the thread from JayD, accept I'm not that lazy and therefore am looking for a pitchcontrol program.... Preferably one that keeps the same tone level when de/incresing pitch.

We are all lazy , well anywayz try looking for a program called pitchfork. That is the prgram that will help you for what you want...

If you want to keep the tone level of the track while incresing it's speed it's not called pitch shifting anymore. It's changing tempo.
I think there's a plugin for Winamp which allows you to change tempo of an mp3.
Tempo control can also be found on many CD players meant for a DJ use.

For all of those that are interested, @ http://www.downloads.com I found a program, plug-in for winamp, called chronotron. It perfectly "changes tempo" I've tried it on various tracks now and all of them are smoothly running faster (or slower) and still sound the same. I really recommend this program!
