Setting up carts

Ok... well i fugured out the problems i already had posted... now iv been trying for what seems like forever but i cant stop them from skipping, iv noticed that on one tt that the cart is slightly slanted inwards, iv checked and its the whole arm not just the cart.

Right now the height is 4.5, the weight is 3.5, the anti-skate is 0 and the cart is mounted on the very back of a stanton headshell.

Ok yet another edit -
The setting above is on both decks yet its only the deck with the slanting arm that skips. Iv swapped carts and listend to many songs and skipping still occurs.

I have have black stanton headshells with shure m44gs but the problem is the whole tonarm is on a slant. Ill take pictures of the tonarm as soon as i get the digi camera. I think the previous owner of the decks might have taken the tonearm apart and not re-assembled it properly. It looks like the pivot bit is on a strange slant compared to the other table.

Have you tried it at a lower weight? I have my m44gs set up with just under 2 grams and they almost never skip. If mine skip its because of a dodgy record. Just a thought.

Well as usual it was something as simple as the pivot at the top of the tonearm. The previous owner must have tried to oil the arm and not screwed it in straight. A simple unscrew and a screw and now it looks like its good.
Thanks for help and sorry for the excessive posting, i was just worried my tonearm was stuffed.
