how's it feel to be back home?

what are your plans back home now? how long do you have to complete your studies?

It feels ok, but terrible. Right now I'm spending a lot of time catching up with friends and family, which is nice. The problem is that Denmark is pretty much the best place in the world for those seeking coziness, security, and stability, whereas NYC is great for fun, excitement, and variety, and unfortunately for me, I'm valuing the latter qualities over the former ones. I'm geographically challenged.
Since most of the people around me have the opposite priorities they are unable to understand why I'm not absolutely thrilled to be back, which is not really helping me. At least people are able to understand when you've been dumped or someone in your family has died, but few are able to empathize with the geographically challenged.
Anyway, I have at least one year and probably two years left of my studies. When/if I get my diploma - who knows? I could definitely dig living in London or Munich for a while.
