Exclamation Fruity Loops

Hey Guyz....
I was just wondering how many of you are using the famous music production software Fruity Loops??
I was just wondering and I want to share thoughts with you , how far can you take this program towards making a serious and well produced songs?.....sometimes I feel like it can limit what you intend to do and you cannot rely on it alone??...

What y'all think??

To be honest with u, there are limits in every DAW out there.. they might not be the same sorta limits but they do exist in one way or form.. Fruity Loops is a great peice of software.. prolly one of the best.. There have been many "PRO" tunes that have been created on it and got a release. Ofcourse you can't just rely on Fruity alone since u need VSTs . Btw.. thread belongs in the Production forum.

The more freedom you allow a user, the less intuitive a program will become. With the ultimate freedom being notepad and a programming language (ok ok you can have an API), and ultimate intuitivity being something like a TR-909 (oh man I love jamming it).

I think fruity strikes the best possible bridge for my intentions.

I love FL - its so easy to just go in and mess around - but it is possible to make very professional songs on it - many pro's use it. And the VST's are useful but I've heard of a song released that just used FL's internal plugins ( Tyler C - Elsewhere )...so its not what you use but how you use it

FL is very great I think. It just takes skill to use. FL can sound very nooby if you don't know how to use it. But, if you use all the filters and effects correctly, it can sound very professional.

It's the only program I've used for producing music. And until I can afford to buy another program, it's all that I will use.

i use FL and i think its really good. i pretty much use it as a shell for like sequencing and piano roll and laying out the percussion. you can make really good music with it, but you just need to get vsts and percussion samples
