Recent DJ Reviews Art Deprt./Dixon/Miguel Campbell/Wolf + Lamb/Harvest Fest

Considering there isnt enough TA support to make a Review for each event, I figure place all the Reviews in one thread. I'm sure many of us wanna hear about certain parties each week that you may have missed... I would like somebody to Review Harvest Festival for me...

So heres my contribution...

Art Dept. @ Conema - Was wikkid the club was still bumping until after 5... These guys never disapoint me. There was a 4am last call that was clutch. By 2am most of the douche crowd had left and you can see how many fans these guys have. They dropped Reasons to be Dismal which was huge for me. Great Night

Miguel Campbell @ Bloke an 4th - 2nd time going to this club and i gotta tell ya th club itself is extremly shitty for something considered to be upscale... This was a TIFF party on a Tuesday, no celebs just a lot of posers... Speaking of poser i had one guy try to educate me on "edm" and i'm not gonna get to into the shit that was falling out of his mouth but i will say at one point he tells me hes a co owner of the Hakesan in Vegas lol...
However up by the booth there was a good group of ppl that were there to listen to Miguel... He played for about 3hrs... My group of fans luved his set, some of yall may would have liked him to play a bit more deeper... He did drop benaddiction and surprisingly the entire club went off which was really cool to see... Nice guy, we met him afterwards.

Worm Popper Harvest Frostival

Will be chilly.

My review will be psy trance-laden. I'll check out the techno too.

funk d'void sucked balls. actually come to think the whole techno tent sucked, one too many crackies and music was quite sub-par. Psy tent was quite decent but a bit too loud at times. Pyramid was the spot . Osunlade was party music but i think he played too long got a bit repetitive in terms of his builds drums track -> techno track drop some vocal shit after insert a soul track, rinse and repeat. Wish he would play a bit deeper. Place was bouncing though and lots of smiles around but yeah programming of techno tent sucked and sound was too much bass not enough clarity.

10/10 for the harvest overall but music 5/10

can't say enough about how much harvest festival was a positive experience this weekend. getting the main fire going with jay at the heads on friday night to the daytime saturday chillout session. the blacklight ping pong in the forest to amazing music everywhere on saturday night.

topping it all off at the pyramid on sunday was not only osunlade's house grooves, but also a hero's hero who cooked maple bacon on a bbq for hours. what a combo that was.

till next year.
