Korean film @ NYFF tonite
If anyone's interested, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is playing at the NY FIlm Festival tonite at 6:30. The film is smashing every box office record in Korea.
If you'd like to join me and my friends, we'll be at Gray's @ 72nd st. between 5:30 and 6. Just look for a group of 4-6 Koreans.

And oh by the way everyone, Mr. Park, whose movie we're gonna see tonight at NYFF, is also the director of Oldboy. If you haven't seen that, it's out on DvD...get it immediately...

i saw oldboy twice...loved every second of it...so the movie sucked because it confused you?? i dont get it....why??

never heard of oldboy or any of these movies... is oldboy available on dvd with english subtitles?

yes its on dvd i believe and its definately has english subtitle cuz i downloaded it.

damn, really? i thought the story was excellent...excellent twist...a great tale of vengence...
i guess you really wont care to konw that theyre also remaking oldboy with nicolas cage...the rumor is that theyre gonna turn the dumplings into tacos...

anyway....sympathy for lady vengence is one of my favorite films of this year...such a beautifully shot film..Park has one of my favorite visual styles...and he also has this dark sense of humor which makes the film hilarious, but he uses it at the right times...
fucking awesome film man...i gotta go back to NYFF immediately...

oldboy was one of the most disturbing movies i've ever watched! shudder.
and the dumplings to tacos is hilarious! i wonder if cage's korean child bride persuaded him to remake a korean movie...
