My cell & ID was stolen yesterday...and I need to get all the TA #'s back

Hello everyone

What a way to start off the Friday...

Yesterday...my id and cell phone were stolen in my own building
No one has responded to my sign of a reward for their safe return

So as it turns out...I have lost all the cell numbers

To all the TA's that know me, either msn, email me or call my old number.
My msn and email [email protected]

Update: I've just had my old number reactivated now...so it should work fine now but I still don't have any of your numbers.

Sorry for this glitch guys...i feel like shyte knowing some ahole out there has helped himself to my id, cell and money. Atleast my old cell has been blocked now...so no worries on that guys...they can't get to anything or anyone...i had everything coded for security.
Whoever it was, I hope he/she burns in hell...and so does his father, mother, wife/husband, kids and ancestors.

It's gonna be a biatch to get all those id's back
I hope it wasn't some immigrant trying to get id's cuz then I'll totally lose it.
I already got told that the Cdn Citizenship will take a year....
As for the rest of my id...I don't even wanna get into it...cuz I don't want to vent and get all worked up now.

So everyone...msn/email or call me with your cellie so I can reprogram you into my life.

Thanks everyone!!!

your id is probably safe and sound in the landfill by now.

that's what happened to my wallet when it was stolen. all my id and even credit cards were found in the garbage by the janitor at the school. the money was gone but nothing else. if the janitor hadn't found the stuff, then i would think the same thing.

LOL marg...I already threw myself in the bin looking for the garbage bag from the mail room. I was told sometimes they just grab the money and cellie and then dump the bag with id.

NO luck...I cudn't stomach the smell and when I got back from the bank and reactivating my phone...the garbage ppl picked up the container and emptied it

Dahem....and I was soo looking forward to puking

I always tell my friends who have numbers in their cellphones, back that shit up.

I dont know much about cellphones, but my buddy Mac's could be tied into Outlook... whutever was in Outlook would be exported to his cell, whutever was in his cell got uploaded to his Outlook contacts.

Cellphones are so EASY to lose, I think not backing up that contact info is nuts.

I have soooooo many contacts (well over 240) in my Outlook Contacts that if I ever lost them Id be DEVASTATED. I export my Outlooks to a CSV (comma separated value) file every month or so and them email to myself after it's saved on my comp... then if my comp fries, I still have a copy of that small CSV file in my email, so I can INSTANTLY re upload all my data. My contacts are just too precious to trust that nothing will happen to them. Gotta back that shit up.

I hope you find a way to back up your new shit Pat, bc thats just balls that you lost it. I KNOW how you'd feel... emails, address, birthdays, phone numbers, etc. ALL GONE!

Back that shit up, is my advice to everyone. Cellphones just are too easy to have stolen or lost. And if if happens, you dont wanna be left without all that info.

Best of luck reacquiring all that shit Pat! *breasthugs*

Smile (when you're able to).

Jamie

All my contacts are served up via my Open-Xchange (www.open-xchange.org) sever interfacing with Outlook which also syncs up with my Pocket PC. Yahoo has licensed the Intellisync software and has a customized version which allows you to sync your Palm/PPC devices with the Yahoo online PIM. Very nice as you can access all your PIM data (contacts, calendar, notes, etc) from any web browser... although I usually use the Open-Xchange web interface.

I'm looking forward to the maturity of SyncML so I can access and sync all my PIM data with any device/program that supports it.

I also want to migrate over from Outlook to KDE's Kontact PIM (www.kontact.org) because Open Source is good!

And yes, I am a nerd. Thanks for asking.
