Smoking ..umm..something 2 questions on CD Burning and Ripping

yo

how can u divide a non-stop mix mp3 to tracks in order to burn them on a cd without having any silence after each track?? i've tried to divide the mp3 to several mp3s and then burning the cd... but when i played the cd i found out it stops for a coupla seconds after each track... that sucks... any good software or cd burner capable of dividing the cd (cue)??

and how can u rip a non-stop mix cd thats divided into tracks to one big mp3??

any help would be much appreciated =)

use www.exactaudiocopy.de for ripping the CD to one file.

For burning I recommend www.feurio.de it's really good. You can also burn with no pauses in Nero, but I can't tell you how.
Don't worry about the .de the programs are available in english, too!

about getting rid of the silence... in nero, if thats what you use, if you select al lthe mp3s goinf on to your mix and right click ans select properties you can change the pause to 0.0 seconds. keep in mind that the first track requires a 2 second pause

an even easier and faster way (in my opinion) is to write up a generic cue file an d have cues like every 5 minutes. This sucks though if you want to have each cue at the beg. of each song... any more questions just ask. Lata

I've got Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4, to get rid of the 2 second gap between songs, when you click on the 'Create CD' button, a menu will pop up. Ensure that you choose 'Disc At Once'. This will eliminate the gap.
