I'll tell you right now the reason why it's All Ages is that it's a MUST for tons of locals to attend this, otherwise sales are going to be shite.
1. Vegas' population overall isn't THAT huge. I believe it's like 500,000. So based on locals only, 1 out of every 50 people would have to go if the event was, say, 10,000 people.
2. I am sure a good number of people would come to LA to make the odds better, but you'd have to rely on people wanting to drive 4 hours on NYE to party on NYE then drive back on New Years day because...
3. For out of towners, Vegas is expensive as hell during New Years eve. Actually, it's a bit ludicrous, which will keep a ton of people away unless you are just flowing with the cash. And I don't see a lot of people go to Vegas on NYE just to attend a 6 hour concert....not the majority anyway.
I wonder whose bright idea was for to have a TiC on NYE in Vegas.
