Whether in the studio or on the decks, he is the best

Ferry Corsten.

Honestly I have seen all the top trance deejays in the world. Armin Van Buuren was here two weeks ago. It was the second time that I saw him. He just doesn't cut it for me. Too many breakdowns for a live set. I don't understand how he can suddenly switch between progressive to techy to epic trance. Some would consider this skill, but it's boring and it kills the mood on the dancefloor.

Tiesto, he's great live, his studio releases have been shit since his remix of Southern Sun.

Oakenfold, I don't pay to see trainwrecks and that's all I got from him.

Paul Van Dyk, all his tracks sound the same. It's like he uses the same bassline over and over. It worked the first time, it worked the second time, but by the third time it gets boring.

Ferry's productions have always been top-notch and when he played here live i was like this -->
He's also a really humble and great dj. Had the opportunity to pick him up from the airport and discuss trance with him. Those thirty minutes were pure bliss. Voters at Ibiza recently voted him the Number One DJ and hopefully people of TA and djmag do the same.

Very true brother. I could have written the exact same thing myself. I am not sure about Oakenfold as I have only heard a couple of sets from him which were pretty good. But Ferry Corsten has that different "something".
I also like John Fleming and Christopher Lawrence very much.

Yeah, John Fleming was awesome when he came here too. There wasn't that many people who came out to support him, but he played some really nice psy-trance and had everyone who was there, rooting for him.

Although he's undoubtedly a class DJ and producer, Ferry's been playing the same set for six months now. FB, his remix of Never Win, Galaxia 2005, Rock Your Body Rock and so on. At least the other big DJs you slag off put some variety into proceedings.

yep, really a shame he doesnt put more time into finding good tracks. It annoys me he almost only plays his own tracks, while he could be playing better tracks made by other people (although he is a great producer).

Apart from that he is a great dj and a great producer yes

Ferry is amazing live. I really like the direction he went in as far as djing and producing when his style changed.
