It was not immediately clear whether actress Talia Shire, who appeared in the five previous Rocky films as the boxer's love interest, Adrian, will return in the sixth instalment, said Stuart Herriot, a spokesman with Revolution Studios, which is co-producing the film. "In the script, she did pass away, but it's unsure whether she might appear in a flashback or in older footage," Herriot said. "It's too early in the production to tell." But, Herriot said, actor Burt Young is expected to return in Rocky Balboa as Adrian's brother, Paulie. I know this is a couple of weeks old, but it's just un-fucking-believable really. He's doing it because he needs closure with the film, because soooo many people just hadda know. Did we not get closure in Rocky V when he kicked Tommy Gunn's pansy ass in a street fight, Philly style--and then proceeded to retire into obscurity? Was that not "The End?" You mean now I have to sit through the death of Talia Shire and what probably grew up to be the world's biggest disappointment of a son in movie history? Who ya gonna fight, Rock? Who's it gonna be? Will Stallone be flabby like Rocky I or will he be a rock-hard chiseled freak like he was in Moscow in Rocky IV when he single-handedly defeated Communism?! God Damn it, Sly, why did you do it to me? Why must I now watch a sixth Rocky film? So they can attain a Star Wars like sextology or double trilogy trophy? So who will Rocky's ultimate opponent be? Butterbean? Damn, this is going to suck.
