Battery 2

I was wondering if anyone here who uses Battery 2 would be able to shed some light (tips, tricks, or basic usage) on how to use the software.

I am new to producing, and I am guessing that starting with drums (then bass) is the best way to go. Thus the reason I am focusing on Battery at the moment (or to start).

An additional question: does everyone use samples for drums or do they make their own samples (drum sounds). And if they make their own, how do they do it?

Please excuse the newbish questions, I know from reading here that not many people enjoy such questions. However, I believe I am serious about this (bought everything I need I think). Hence, I would appreciate some of you bearing with me.

cheers...

greetings. i do not know much about battery since i do not use them. As for your question about drums, i believe that majority of people out there uses samples, expecially for dance music, but i believe it all comes down to what genre you're into. say, if you're into jazz n stuff, its better to get realistic drum sounds, hence recording it yourself would be great, but its time consuming. Therefore, samples are the way to go, or for me.

happy producing.
