Ok, so last night I was out at petsmart picking up some things for my cats and you know you see these things on TV all the time but for me I have never felt like putting up the money to try one out, until last night.
For me, the worst things about taking care of a cat is cleaning their litter box. So I picked up this automated litter box cleaner and while I was skeptical at first I must say that this is one bad ass invention!!!
The cats were a bit freaked out by it at first but its awesome! It has a sensor on it and can tell when the cat leaves the litter box, after thirty minutes it cleans it out and all you have to is empty the little box evey four or five days.
Soooo... if any of you out there have wondered about those things, they work!! I never knew anyone with one of these which is why I brought it up today. Its defenitly worth the 100$.
Yes, I have one too. Which one did you get?!? There is a new one out that is kind of round that I would like to try. My litter maid on is ok. I have had it now for about 3 years and it is not working all that well anymore. MAKE SURE you use hard clumping cat litter. You do not want to have to clean up the mess if not, trust me. You want to really blow your mind. they make a new kind of cat box now that washes itself. you never have to put litter in it again. You hook it up to a water supply and a drain. You use a crystal type of material for the litter and after the cat is done doing his stuff, a door closes and the cat box acts like a washing maching to disolve anything that is in there. Then it drys itself. I want one of these so bad!!! No where to hook it up in my house though!

I had one when I had my two cats. Definately the best invention ever! All i had to do was take the little box and throw it away! It was awesome!

My GF had 2 different ones...
We've both read reviews b4 we bought them
She travels alot so it was a good idea to try them, but they never do their job after she came back from out of town
both were around 100 bux, had to return them cuz didn't work too well with her cats

I tried... getting them to poop there is not the hard thing... getting them to flush is... Nothing is worse then having company over and there be day old cat shit in the toilet.

we used to have one, but leo only went potty on one side of the box... so the container would be totally full on one side and empty on another. then i tried to put more litter in so he wouldnt do it and the little automatic scooper thingy would get stuck b/c there was too much litter in it. it was good when he was a kitten, but once he got big it sucked...
