Terrible computer virus!! (Please help!)
Hey guys,
Sorry for so many computer problem threads but since I destroyed my motherboard a month ago, I've replaced it and everything on my comp is totally buggered.
Somewhere, I got a very nasty virus and I don't know how to get rid of it. My computer sometimes automatically shuts off, MSN logs off, IE opens by itself, random computer programs open by themselves, sometimes I see my Start>Run box open and mspaint or cmd typed in, trying to start something, I have some bar that sometimes appears at the top of my screen saying I have a virus that leads to www.pcadprotector.cc, etc etc etc. Basically, the shittiest thing that can happen to my computer. I've even unplugged my modem to see if someone is physically tapped into my computer and controlling it, but programs still opened on their own while it was disconnected. Anyone else had this or know what it is? I've ran Adaware, Bazooka Scanner, Spybot and Norton Antivirus a dozen times and I still can't get rid of it. Can anyone help me at all?
