burning a movie to a DVD with .SRT (subtitle) file

i just downloaded El Mariachi and i wanna burn it on to a DVD. but it has no subtitles on the .avi file. insted it came with a SRT file. how do i burn with that?

they usually have tutorials for all this kinda stuff. i've never had to merge a sub file to an avi but im sure its not that hard with the guides here
