This is just an example of someone from the outside who has no respect for anyone or anything coming into a party and fucking it up for everyone...

The media/public accepts murders as being a sad consequence of 'big city life'... It's a lot more newsworthy when someone overdoses as compared to when someone is murdered. The public is more de-sensitized to violence than it is to overdosing kids partying away at the wee hours of the night...

i think this thing will effect parents and like now kids will be controlled and such from going to such places...
but then again what is the probability of someone getting stabbed in a rave.
but i guess the press don't give a hoot about stats...

Man I can't believe this happened.. I feel awful about it... I thought no matter what, that's the last thing you'd expect at a rave... I guess not... there's peepz who die all the time when they shouldn't (u know what I mean, when it's a senseless death) I dunno what I want to write but I just wanna say that life's messed...

i think this is the end of mainstream raves as we speak. it's not because of the candy ravers, not because of the gino's that come & dance, no, those people will keep raving.. but i think its the end of raves held at the docks, or the better living centre, or big venues.. i think the cops are gunna have a field day with this one, and you can thank all of these little punks.

This is pure stupidity. I used to go to Hullabalo but lately the vibe just died so i stopped going. Now this. What the fuck is going on are you going to go and dance at the rave or go and stab somebody. I'm going to see Tiesto@ The Docks on 24 but i wish they had choosen a different venue. Anyhow just wanted to vent

I think you're right on this one. Think of the shooting at the Guv (and subsequent stabbing outside a few months later). I haven't heard ANYTHING about a conviction for either of those deaths. The rave scene comes into question mostly when kids die from drug overdoses/reactions.

This is so tragic and sad. The two guys suspected of the murder and assault are now in custody, so let's just wait and see.....

Let's hope that something actually happens...

But, when it's not drug-related, and parents aren't screaming... The ponderous wheels of the justice system don't turn.
