To those that I know. In spite of the things that occur we must never forget that...
our time here is short. we pass through each other's lives for what seems forever. when in reality it is just a passing window of clarity. we are able to see and be with each other because circumstances bring us together. but just as circumstances changed to bring us together. they can change to lead us apart. even with so called modern technology, nothing can replace the comforting benefits of traditional companionship. partying through the night. watching the sun come up. drinking beer. watching football. hanging out on the front porch. burning one in the quiet of the night. these things that we take for granted thinking perhaps.. that these times, these moments will never end. will always happen again. we will always have another again. but there might not be... we fail to realize how special they are. these times. when we can forget about what we have to do later in the month. the next week. the next day. but we don't. our minds do not work like that. uncontrollable. always wandering. always thinking of something else. and so we never fully appreciate these present moments that we have with each other for what they truly are. perfection. bliss. a myriad of useless words could attempt to sum up what people search for all their lives. but it can all be said in one word. paradise.
