1) You may only regularly promote a night in here if you have been an
active and participating member of the forum for longer
than *insert time* or have made some sort of significant contribution in the past. If anyone posts regularly about their night, and nothing else, no hesitation will be made to delete the thread.
2) Only post one thread per party, rollcalls, set times, afterparties
are to be contained within this one thread.
3) Bumping of events is strictly prohibited. Offending posts will
be deleted. Information updates to an event are allowed within reason. Fake accounts for the purpose of bumping threads will be deleted.
4) Promoting of free parties is allowable regardless as the posters are not posting to have any commercial gain.
5) Promoting of ones self including dj'ing, producing or just plain
showing off is to be posted into the self-promo thread.

please clarify.
if an event is coming up and the event thread has fallen into page 3 since it was created, I don't see an issue with bumping to renew interest or catch people who may have missed the original thread when it was created.
would save people creating new threads for the same event also.

yeah, i don't see a problem with bumping threads. if they're allowed to be there in the first place big deal.
there should be more self-promo moderation. i know soups seems to think he should have his own sounds of downunder thread. wrong. everyone else (?) at this stage uses the self promo thread besides him now. (correct me if i'm wrong).
Should def allow all white supremacy threads, they are quality.

i don't think there is anthing wrong with having a thread for a radio show, as long as it's the same thread perhaps rather than one each month maybe?. It's kinda like an event, and in soups' case he often has guests, sometimes internationals etc which imo is just like a night.
I'd be more worried of moderating threads involving racism and very random bullshit (like there has been quite a lot of recently) rather than people sharing their love of music.
But hey that's just me

in soups' defense as millson says he does have relatively prominent guests. is there that much a stretch between that and how many contributors here often just post in the party threads they started (at an event theyre playing at).
plus, if soups did everything you wished him to, id miss you being a funny cvnt at his expense
