i just deleted my info from beatport, called my credit card co. and had them issue me a new one even though my account was ok.

this is what you get for using crap flash on your site! if all these things are true, then i hope beatport will understand to get rid of flash as it sucks in every way.
flash sucks! (mostly, i've seen 1 or 2 sites that have good flash, but that's 1 or 2 out of tens of thousands)
but this is serious. they need to do something about it.

I've ordered almost 100 MP3s on their site and really like it, and I hope I didn't get my info stolen either. I only have around $150 in my checking account but I will check tomorrow at the bank to make sure nothing happened...they should probably fix their site and use more secure billing like AudioJelly does. I can't even access the site right now to delete my account though....it's down.

blargh! you guys got me on paranoid mode right now and now i have to go through all of the mp3 shops and take out my cc info. but i'm glad that you guys brought this up cause i'm up to 109 mp3s bought off beatport and more from other sites and plus i thought that my info was "safe." heh...well anyway thanks.
