Decent Tape Deck?

Hey all,

I'm requiring your help please.

I'm looking to find a decent tape deck so I can record some of my old tapes of Judge Jules's shows and DJ Mixtapes to computer so I can mp3 the badboys up.

Could you recommend me a tape deck I can buy (ideally single tape deck) thats under £100 (british pounds) - I dont need dual tape decks and I want to be able to buy a tape deck unit I can just put by my PC on the desk and connect to my sound card via the lead I have, I dont want to buy it so I have to connect it to the rest of a hifi as its in the other room.

Any recommendations? I dont want to spend more than £100.

Thanks!

I've just had a look on richersounds and found this, looks of interest.

If you have a walkman you can just use the headphone socket on that to record straight to the pc?

Could be easier than paying out for a new tape deck or dunno if they sell these in the UK but I remember seeing it in a mag a while back http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/drives/7a8d/ looks pretty good.

check ebay and pawn shops. You dont need anything fancy dancy. Just use some rubbing alchohol and clean the heads. For good results, record to your PC using a good soundcard. Keep the tape noise, it sounds sexy!
