really enjoyed this set, nice to hear some banging trance for a change

the choice of tracks is pretty damn good but the mixing is a slight letdown, the beatmatching is less than perfect and quite noticeable in parts but all the mixes are kept together well enough.

overall it's a great mix, just keep practising and it could be perfect

I don't understand, where is it "less than perfect and quite noticeable?"

There are no mistakes in this mix, all the transitions are correct and all the beats matched.

Thanks for your reply but I don't understand what you're referring to. I wouldn't post a mix here if it contained some errors. Besides, I've been DJ-ing for over 3 years.

So if youve been djing for over 3 years it makes you perfect?

ok a bit more precise then...

1st mix the basslines clash, you can clearly hear a correction @ 6:10 and then the beats go off a bit

2nd mix is ok, same deal with lack of use of EQ though

3rd mix is slightly off coming in but stays pretty much spot after

4th mix is slightly off and it comes in far too heavily - use the bass eq.

5th mix is off again 29:02 u can hear this clearly, the beats occasionally sync and phase each other out. eq would help a lot. when you pull cry out the mix sounds very empty. perhaps cry was too hard a track for that stage of the set?

6th mix is better, perhaps cued a little late and a bit light compared to the last track, the kick drum is a lot lighter compared to every other track in the set so far

7th mix is spot on there or thereabouts, bass is clashing again though

8th mix is ok again, still bass clash though

9th mix goes off quite a bit, esp 55:40. eq is lacking again. stays offbeat most of the mix

10th mix - ouch coming in. well recovered. bass clash again

as i say it's a nice set. you are just a bit heavy handed with the records imo. you need to use the eq aswell, they aren't there to look pretty

Fair enough - I just meant there are no major errors, whatever small errors were in some transitions were recovered from quickly.
