i saw erick morillo. i wasn't sure if it was him so i walked up to his table, apologized for the intrusion and asked, are you erick morillo? he said yes (kinda hard to tell in the dark lighting there). i spoke to morillo for a few seconds, told him i was a fan of his, he thanked me and asked me my name. i responded in kind and he said he was pleased to meet me. i apologized for interrupting his dinner and he said it was ok, not to worry.
i didn't have my camera, but i always feel bad about asking celebrities for photos because they want to just enjoy themselves as a regular person.
so conclusion: nobu 57 is a good place to see celebrities. the food and dessert was excellent.

Not a DJ sighting but saw that rapper/producer Pharrel at the Duomo in Milan yesterday shopping at Gucci. He was really cool and not all gangstarish..
Edit: oh yeah I take that back I just remembered him calling my girlfriend baby girl....

Yeah man, how did you afford that place? I'd like to check it out sometime, but I hear it's redic expensive. It's pretty well known for being a celeb hangout.

i was surprised about prices... especially considering nobu has a lot of seafood, the prices weren't as high as in some other places. i usually assume 30-40 for seafood entrees, but you can get entrees for about 20 at nobu 57. i had already eaten earlier in the night so had sushi pieces instead. only spent about 30 bucks there last night

So the big question is, what was Morillo eating? Stalker...
How easy was it to get reservations? Plan in advance or can you call a few hours before.

heh
earliest you can reserve is one month to the day you want. i do not suggest a few hours before. we walked up at 10 pm and we still had to wait about 15 minutes for two spots to open up at the sushi bar
