Forthcoming Monster Tunes releases...

Monster 012 - Fred Baker presents Iguana - Beautiful Sunshine EP
Release date - Out Now!

A massive EP here from one of the biggest and most consistent producers in the world at present. Fresh from remixing Tiësto's 'Adagio for Strings', Fred Baker serves up two tasty morsels of blistering trance that will really make your mouth water. The first prime cut 'Beautiful Dream' has been rocking Monster HQ ever since its arrival, with a gorgeous choral breakdown and layer upon layer of uplifting synths that blast the track along to its euphoric climax.

The AA side, as the title would suggest, is a slightly
darker affair. Driving synths and bubbling bass push the track towards the break, where the main hook line slowly fades in, finally revealing itself in all its glory as the track explodes back into life. Both tracks are massive and will cause peak time mayhem wherever they are dropped.

Also check out the forthcoming Monster 012R remix disc! Featuring a remix from men of the moment Stoneface & Terminal that has already been featured on TATW and is causing a massive stir in clubland right now!

Pure 007 - Grenz & Fillmore - Waterworld
Release Date - November 7th

A release packed with rising stars, 'Waterworld' is uplifting trance in its purest form. Ryan Grenz has already had his work hammered by Armin on his ASOT show, and this track should see similar support from all the big guns. Taking up remix duty we have the incredibly talented Jani Kervinen aka Mystery Islands. Jani's mix is effortlessly uplifting and powerful, with a huge main synth backing up a simply gorgeous piano hook line which harks back to tracks like BT - Flaming June.

The Original mix reigns in the euphoria in the early minutes with just the odd acid bleep and squelch hinting at the euphoria that is to come. The track is allowed to build gently to the break, teasing the dancefloor before the main lead is finally introduced. As the piano is brought in the energy begins to increase,
building to a huge climax and dancefloor mayhem by the end of the break.

Absolutely massive stuff here from two of the most talented up and coming producers in the trance scene at this moment.

Force 014 Eden Project - Open Your Mind
Release - November

Eden Project may be a new name on the scene but the producers behind it certainly know their stuff, having released numerous trance classics under the guise 'Lost Witness'. The vocal mix sees the boys return to the form that made 'Happiness Happening' and 'Red Sun Rising' such timeless tracks, with a powerful and uplifting female vocal backed by sweet synth lines, sweeping strings and pulsating bass. On the flip the instrumental is for those vocalphobics out there. Rather than just stripping the vocals from the track, the boys have changed the whole atmosphere of the track, adding a moody string intro and placing more emphasis on the uplifting synth line that runs through both tracks.

Force 009 - Lume - Lume
Release - November/December

Finland seems to be taking over as centre of the trance world, and this release only serves to highlight the fact. Janne Nygard aka Lume's self titled debut is another belter to come from our friends in the north. The original mix is a subtle yet uplifting trancer with a haunting, unusual vocal that floats and weaves its way through the track and provides a distinctive hook to latch onto. Paul van Dyk favourite Adam Sheridan takes up remix duty on this one and injects a serious dose of squelch to proceedings. Taking the vocal and twisting it around a massive techy bassline which will devastate dancefloors wherever it is dropped, Adam's mix is a stunning and innovative take on the original.

Watch this space for further updates, including the new EPs from Mystery Islands and Aava, Kuffdam & Plant's massive follow up to Summer Dream and the new Monster Sampler Series...

Kind Regards,

Simon

Beautiful Sunshine is a very good tune, The tune is very uplifting and I've always found it very good since the first time I heard it. Stoneface & Terminal's remix is very good too, I found it better than the original.

Grenz & Fillmore - Waterworld and the remix by Mystery Islands is very good stuff. Jani really manages to surprise me with good tunes all the time. Original mix is weaker than Mystery Islands, For sure

Lume - Lume is one of my new favourites. It's very uplifting, and Ronski Speed has played it out quite a bit. I'm really liking this one, It's such a big tune!

I have not heard Eden Project - Open Your Mind - Hopefully I'll do that.

Keep on pumping out good stuff Monster Tunes!
