Niklas Harding Presents Arcane - Red Jewel Released [Cold Harbour]
Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.This beauty just got released on audiojelly.There are two versions,one of 192kbps and another of 320kbps.
What can i say really.If you've ever been to di.fm forums,you'll know that most people love this tune.There were 2 pages with posts like <> etc each and every time Markus had played it.So let's see and try to make a review.
The tune starts with a great kick (and the usual hit-hats,claps,snares etc) and and some effects in the background.After the first minute comes a nice deep bass with some notes from the main synth appearing here and there.On the 2:10 we can notice the first melody (intro melody if you like to name it) which is beauuuuuuuuutiful and that's it as we reached the breakdown.Some notes here and there (with echo effect) make a nice intro for the fantastic melody (main melody) of Red Jewel.It's all about this melody.Sure the synth is tweaked (delay and echo) but if it didn't have this melody it wouldn't be so great.After this lovely (although a bit simple) breakdown we go to the loop part,in which we can hear every synth,mixed together with the awesome main melody.Lastly the outro (almost 2 minutes) is a bit simple and repetitive,but i'm sure it's perfect for mixing.
Overall i love it.I said it before and i'll say it again.This is one of the best 2005 productions.Congratulations to Niklas Harding and Anders Mikkelsen (for those not knowing,Arcane is Niklas Harding and Anders Mikkelsen).
