TRANCE.NU -- The well-known producing duo Gouryella suffered a split when DJ Tiësto left the act.

Yes, none of us believed the news when we read it in the trance.nu forums yesterday. So trance.nu mailed Black Hole to get the rumours confirmed. Hopes were still there that this was just another nasty rumor. But hopes turned into tears when Black Hole’s Arny Bink dropped this line:
“I can confirm that Gouryella have split up, and although there will be new Gouryella tracks, Tiësto will no longer produce them. This is for artistical reasons only, Ferry and Tiësto are still good friends.”
After the article about Dj Tiëstos album “In my memory” in Mixmag’s November issue where Tiësto stepped on Ferry Corstens feet by saying “It’s great to show the world I’m not just another Ferry Corsten” many took the rumours about a possible Gouryella split as the result. But according to Purple Eye’s Brian Dessaur it’s not at all the background to the split of one of the scenes best acts.
“Due to the very busy scedule's of Ferry and Tijs, they aren't able to get together in the studio at the moment. This does not mean that there will never be a new Gouryella single in the near future.”
So, trance.nu are sad to deliver the news about the split of Gouryella; an act that has brought us both joy and tears with their three anthems ‘Gouryella’, ‘Walhalla’ and ‘Tenshi’.

Wat is dat nou voor gelul. Gouryella = Tiesto & Ferry Corsten, dus als Tiesto ermee stopt dan is dat toch gewoon het einde van Gouryella. Waarom zou Ferry in z'n eentje tracks onder die naam gaan maken? Hij werkt toch al als System F.
Hoe dan ook, het is toch wel heeeeeeeeel erg balen hoor. Ik verheug me al jaren op het Gouryella album dat er zou komen.

Jammer.. dan blijft het dus maar bij 3 tracks van Gouryella...
Hopelijk produceren ze in de toekomst nog wel iets samen onder een ander allias of gewoon System F vs Tiesto
Ik zit eigenlijk ook al een jaar te wachten op een nieuwe Kamaya Painters, nu zijn album al een tijd af is... kunnen we toch wel weer een nieuwe productie verwachten onder een ander allias.

klote dit zeg, Tiesto was de man die gouryella "die special sound gaf" Niet de gewone vertrouwde System F sound van ferry
Ik hoop dat ferry met armin/Vincent de Moor zijn nieuwe gouryella tracks gaat maken. Anders wordt het een slap System F aftreksel

was wel ff slikken, echt kut dit, alle drie de nummers staan boven aan mijn all time favorites lijstje en tenshi was mijn eerste vinyl. ik had verwacht dat tijdens tiesto solo 2 feb er een nieuwe gouryella wel zou worden gedraaid. echt balen

Ferry met Vincent is nog altijd Veracocha .. en dit lijkt ook maar een einzelganger
En Gouryella is alleen maar Tijs en Ferry normaal gesproken... anders gebruiken je wel een andere project naam.

Ik vindt dit niet echt groot nieuws, als Rank 1 nou uit elkaar had gegaan dan had het pas nieuws geweest. Er zijn zoveel artiesten die samen onder een andere naam een nummer of meerdere maken, moeten we dan bij iedereen gaan rouwen als er 1 toevallig onder die naam geen nummer meer wil maken.
Dus kan hier verder niet echt om rouwen.
