Error loading flp

So I went ahead and did some changes to a song of mine and I went ahead and tried to reopen it maybe 20 mins later and I get this error message... "An error occured while reading the flp file. It may be corrupted or some plugin caused an error while opening."

Anyone know how I can maybe fix this?

Ugh this is terrible I had so much work done on this track and the only backup I have is basically from a template with only 1 of the melodies.

Lesson learned - next time save a new version of the project at each critical stage.

Wow and as I start working on it again. I get through adding something about to save and BOOM it crashes. I'm really starting to hate producing just at this moment.

Try changing your audio driver. I had the same problem once... after desperately tweaking everything, switching my audio driver to ASIO made the file accessible. Go figure. I resaved the file and switched back to my US-122 primary driver.

I dont think there is a fruity user anyware in the world that this hasn't happened to at least once..

Ctrl + N (save new version) is your friend!!

I recommend hitting ctrl + N about every 10-20 minutes or so.

I've been using FL so long I do it sub-consiously.. last time a file crashed I thought I'd been forgetting to save.. then I went into the DIR and found 50 progression files.. with the last one being about 10 minutes before the crash.

No, it sucks poeple like you decide to put your two cents in when you dont have any idea of what your talking about and bash FL!

I've been using FL for 5 years.. and only had 3 files corrupt.. thats not exactly "so unstable"

Its only a small flaw that will normaly pop up once or twice during a FL users years using the sequencer..
