do dead bugs float or sink?

I have some water on my desk from last night and there is this small black thing in it. I drank a lil bit and noticed this little black thing, so I stopped drinking. Well it sank to the bottom...

is it a bug or not?

They only way to check will be to drink the entire glass and then examine your poop for the next few days. If you find a dead bug in one of yout turds, then you will have your answer.

most dead bugs float. (take for instance, bugs in pools that haven't been skimmed. ugh. gross. but yea, they float!)

Man are you blind? Look at it closer. Does it have legs, antennae, or composite eyes?

i don't think it's a bug...it'd have to be pretty dense to sink at that size...unless it's an obese bug

You could get another glass of water you know...but then you wouldnt have anything to post in here, so maybe its a good thing that an obese bug-like thing is in your water.
