Sasha in Vegas...
So I have some pretty good pics/vids of the show (esp. vids) but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to post them. Can somebody PM me or reply with how to do it and I will post them.
As for the show, what can I say-it was Sasha in Vegas on Halloween weekend. Club ICE is a bad ass club-very accessible dance floor, unbeleiveable sound/light system, overall killer atmosphere. They had the nitris tanks hooked up, like the ones that were supposed to be at LO3 in Miami and somebody "lost the keys", anyhow, it made for a perfect setting since half of the people there were dressed up for halloween. It would fill the dance floor and you could not see a thing, then it would slowly start to settle and you're surrounded by every costume imaginable. Sasha was super pumped, very into the crowd and vice versa-he was actually much better than at the Blue Room in O-town in February, for those that were there. Not that that was a bad show at all, but the setting was much more DJ friendly. They had full on pole dancers in the back, multiple levels with multiple bars, a whole side room that had a giant glass wall that looked out over the dance floor with a full view, a really top notch club. Very long lines getting in, but the Bouncers were good and kept it moving. Actually met some folks there from O-town and Amelia Island/Jax. (where I'm from)
Anyhow, mixing from Sasha was incredible as usual, although with the Ableton it makes it very hard, for me at least, to id tracks, definately recognized some, but still not sure of id's. Overall he seemed totally excited and into it and the crowd was loving it. A very good night in all, despite the fact that I was jet lagged with 3 hour time difference, the time changed that night and I was up until 12:00 the next day at the ER in Vegas on Halloween weeekend b/c my boy broke his leg leaving the club that night, but that's a whole other story....Cheers.
