how on earth does a remix 'kill' a track anyway? surely if you don't like the remix then you don't listen to it.. i don't see how it should effect how much you like the original tune

maybe i just bitter cos i love the super8 mix of VS

but w/e

i think the ton tb mix of marcel woods - advanced is possibly the worst excuse for a remix i've ever heard

I may not have heard the original Voller Sterne, but I also have heard the Super8 Mix. Super8 is one of my favourite producers. I think my least favourite remix (I'm not saying I hate it) is Menno De Jong - Guanxi. I guess it's because the Intro doesn't grab me in the way that Alba, Rush (vs Orkidea) and Taurine do. the Super8 Mix of Taurine is absolutely brilliant, so no way do remixes destroy the original. In fact, for most tracks I hear, I think the remix is better!
