wow it just goes to show how close-minded some people can be.
it may not be tiesto or ferry or pvd or Sander..but Jackal & Hyde (and Dynamix II- who played along side them at ultra) are some of the best and brightest performers of their genre.. and honestly to say that they suck would be like listening to one trance track, and saying that PVD stinks. its just plain stupid.
and btw mel, that track is Cyberian Knights- This is the Sound of the Underground
dont believe me? look up people like Ash Rock part of Hydraulix and someone that ALWAYS reps MIAMI!), J Break, Oz and Storm, Dave Noller (Scratch D from Dynamix II), Cyberian Knights..etc.. and not only are they some of the bigest names for what they do..alot if not all of them are talent that was bred here in Florida.
alot of them are the reasons i collect electro/breaks vinyl

good for you. you're way more elite than i am. actually. i've known of them for several years and have been huge into breaks for many years. but i'm more of a fan of the nuskool sound coming out of the uk and australia rather than the 95% shitty florida breaks. proggy breaks i also have a soft spot for. there are some good florida breaks, but its too much crap to weed through to find the few good stuff. props to you if you go through that hassle, but i'm not gonna bother anymore.
ask anybody son, i listen to anything thats GOOD. may it be trance, techno, prog, house, breaks, electro, etc etc. but it has to be good. jackel & hyde for the most part IN MY OPINION are not good. yes they got a few good tracks here or there, but i dont get excited when i hear the name "jackel & hyde." not in the way i cream my pants when i hear "sander kleinenberg."
i've given them a chance (ultra6) and they were way too disappointing. never again. i'll stick to artists like rennie pilgrem, plump djs, james zabiela, hyper, tayo, adam freeland, blim, phil k, future funk squad, madam breaks, etc etc etc.
