you can use almost any tool for that..e.g. use one of the 303 vanguard presets...EQ them a lil (take out the lower notes), add some slight delay (preferably 16th) and a lil reverb.
THEN load in the Cubase SX Overdrive Plugin...choose "warm", set overdrive to somewhat 70-80% (see yerself) and add extra gain on the mids and highs (leave the bass as it is).

then its all about the pattern u build

Propellerhead's ReBirth is now abandonware and can be legally downloaded for nothing. Give that a try.

Vanguard can do some wicked 303's... choose a fm pulse, bi saw, and a pulse pwn, turn the fat knob up a little more than 1/4, then turn the pwm knob all whe way to wihcever side you prefer and chose a filter you think sound nice, also play a little the envelopes... You could also try experementing with wich waveforms you use..

He uses a subtractor with highpass filter, bit of resonance and a filter overdrive for that sound.

You mention that he uses a subtractor which is obviously Reason, but how do you get a filter overdrive effect in FL Studio?

Cheers.
