A Few Comments/Suggestions:

I like the use of timpani (30) and how it syncopates the strings.

1-2:30 - Consider automating the strings or perhaps running it through a phazer. It will create the illusion of the theme changing.

2:33 - sounds like it could mix well into Requiem For A Dream Sound Track.

3:00 - Could be a great place for a swell.

4:20-4:30 - I like the use of silence in the drums. I think it would be more interesting the the drum attacks where on beats other than the downbeat.

5:45 to the end - This is material from the begining. Toss the strings up another 2 octives. It would allow this song to have traveled someplace instead of returning to opening material.

The main rhythm of the strings (1)23(1)23(1)2 is a rhythm that could be used in other instruments, even the drum section to switch the feel from 4/4 to something more syncopated
()- indicates accents

I thing a suspended cymbal would timbrely support the timpani

Overall good job. The layers work harmonically well. The mix is pretty solid also.

Thanks for the honesty!
This is some good advice.
I had a cymbal in there while I was working on it, but it didn't work out too well; I'll try harder on that.
I might do some more drum variations like (1)23(1)23(1)2 in my next track - thanks for the tip.
"I think it would be more interesting the the drum attacks where on beats other than the downbeat." - I agree

"sounds like it could mix well into Requiem For A Dream Sound Track" - never heard of it

I'm still a n00b, so I'm not sure exactly what a swell is, but I think I have a pretty good idea...

Thanks for the ideas!
