So, whatever happened to the great Tiesto takeover of America?
I seem to recall earlier this year, in preperation for his 'In Concert' tour across the USA, there was a lot of hype about him 'breaking dance music to America'(despite the fact a number of acts in the past had tried and failed anyways). Yet, after the LA show, I don't think we've heard of much from it. Did the other two shows go forward? What happened to the Great Tiesto Takeover? Inquiring minds wish to know.

EDM will never takeover America, no matter who the DJ... rap, rock and pop will always be at the top.

If The Prodigy couldn't make dance music have any long-lasting appeal in the US, Tiesto didn't have a hope in hell, particularly as the guy has no marketable image whatsoever.
there is a TiC in new years in vegas is there not?

Really wouldn't surprise me though to be flipping through the channels one day and Tiesto is on MTV...he's commercial enough and even though that would put him at an alltime low, I can unfortunetly see it possibly happening.
