Sound is mirrored
Ok, guys. This is really frustrated. I just bought a new computer and to my not-so-joyable amazement I found out the sound was mirrored.
What is supposed to come out of the right speaker comes out of the left one.
This has, of course, been to my CS-playing mate's laughable joy for starters. But not only that. It also messes up my mixing. It's sucks donkeyd!ck, seriously.
Does anybody now how I can fix this?
I'm not sure as to which soundcard I have. VIA or something I think. It's built-in to the motherboard anyways... It's a package so I don't know exactly what does little f*ckers tossed in there.
EDIT: That's wierd. Works fine in Winamp :S Maybe it's just FL? The Counter-strike thing maybe was an accident after all ;D I'll check to it though.
EDIT again: It's not just FL apperently. The config-tool (has a women voice saying "left", "right" and so on) claims something is wrong. Very weird...
EDIT again and again (yes they will keep coming...) : VIA 3059 audio controller it is... If it's to any help for anyone.
