This is a dance song with female vocals I heard a long time ago. The lyrics go something like:

I was thinking you could (be my man?)
Don't play it's so hard it's just a game
....

The chorus has a simple piano melody and she repeats:
"Be my man"

I'm pretty sure there's an "*eaux" somewhere in the group's name.

I remember reading up on the band (when I knew their name) and the female vocalist split up with the band after releasing a few records.
