Hi Everyone,
I have an idea.
With everyone producing their own tracks,i think it will be a great idea to like have a top 10/20 weekly of all the tracks produced.
I guess everyone can submit their track and then everyone else can vote which tracks they like the best.
As an incentive for producing their tracks i think that tranceaddict can start a record label/or somehow get the top 10 tracks recognized
by someone who can promote it and get it on vinyl.
This is just basically the start of an idea.By everyone giving the 2 cents it will trun into something great.
It is a good opportunity for the "small guy" to get his stuff out there,and as well insure that trance will live on FOREVER!!

I wouldnt know how it will work or get started... But it gives a chance for Good unsigned artist to release there stuff.

I dont know if it would be that much work. Just every now and then, instead of listening to www.di.fm or etn.fm just listen to one of the tracks here. I'll be cool if there could be a way for people to grade but simple you know? LIke its from 0 to 10 (10 being the best), and like from 0-5 you would think it is still amateur. and then from 5 and beyond its pro in you opinion. Like for me traffic by tiesto is a good 7.5. or something like that... i dont know. just trying to contribute to what seems a good idea.

Hey. For this to work, we'd need a single thread to submit tracks and someone willing to compile all of them into the main post. Something else required for something like this is similar distribution... in other words, everyone needs to be using yousendit or direct linking or something similar. I dont think I could manage that, that would be quite time consuming but if anyone is up for that kind of moderating, I give you my full support .
Any ideas are really appreciated and great.
Definately keep your eyes on this spot,it is officially "under construction" then.I will keep everyone posted and share new ideas before i implement them,this way it has the most chance for success.

TA label sounds fucking great.
Then TA Unite can be released on CD
sounds like a good idea to gain some artist exposure.
maybe using the amateur promotion section, when new tracks are added, people could possibly 'nominate' the track for the month in a specially made sticky thread for nominations, with a link to the thread the track is posted in for easy retreval. The moderator could then put the list in the form of a poll with links to all the tracks for people to listen to and vote on! definately could work if someone is willing to do that task. I like the idea of doing it once a month opposed to every week...and it keeps the exposure on that much longer...upon completion the nomination and poll threads are locked, making room for the upcoming months poll.

a TA label will not happen. at least in the near future...
i have spoken to swamper about releasing a TA EP before on profound and he wasn't too keen on that idea
