Hey guys, im looking for earplugs for when i go clubbing, do you guys recommand something not too expensive but that does the job...louis, whats teh sound level in aria 100db? 105db? I think -15db earplugs would work great....

I bought them a month ago, couldn't really test them in a club, but they are great for the price.

and to add a little somthing to it, I recently bought -9dB filters
and believe me they are the best!

you get to hear the music loud enough to enjoy, dance to it without destructing your ears too much
at a limit... go with the -15dB, never lower, else you will regret buy them so will never use them.

I use mine all the time now and I even forget I have earplugs because I hear the music so clearly

thanks...well yeah -15db seems cool for me...depends how loud they put it in clubs...well...whats the law?? i would like louis to answer me...that would be helpful...

above 120dB its 100% earing damage irreversible

in clubs its between 100 and 110dB on the dancefloor

don't even ask for an answer from Louis...numbers won't tell you anything
believe my experience
I have been using professionnal earplugs for almost 2 years now
I used them at Aria, red-lite, lots of clubs, Bal en Blanc, Swirl, Cepsum... etc with -25, -20, and -9
-9 is the one i use rightnow and I must say that I burned my money on -25 and -20 for nothing. they cut the sound too much.
-9 and -15 are the best choice because when you wear earplugs, the lower frequencies vibrates too much in your inner ears which gives you the illusion that the bass is louder (this doesn't affect your hearing) and with -9 and -15, the other frequencies are heard loud enough to cover that effect, which makes you feel like the sound is even at all frequencies (aven't tryed for -15 but i'm sure it works well enough)
below that, you hear the bass too much and the mids and highs are covered which gives you an not so nice sound experience. (you will probably stop using them, like i did many times)
keep in mind that hearing capability is variable for each person

edit: I'm not trying to insist you to buy the expensive things... but I believe it money well spent.

well this is a problem i have...im kinda 30% deaf in the right ear...and ...well, i would only need -9db from right and -15 for left...so...its not possible..lol...so both -15 i guess

yes you can do that.. buy one filter of each instead of a pair
