You have to route the cells to single outputs.All cells are routed to stereo output 1-2, you can change it by simply selecting a cell and clicking on the outputchannel dragging it for instance to 3-4. Hope that helped a bit.

Thanks for your help but I'm still lost. I'm such a noob to Cubase (since yesterday). Step-by-step instructions on exactly how to add the delay to my hi-hats would be great. I was able to select each cell in Battery and send my kick to midi channel 1 and my hi-hat to midi channel 2. But my battery outputs say 'bat 1/2 and bat 3/4'. I'm sorry I just don't get it. In the arrange window right click,choose add a new channel :fx-channel; insert cubase delay or ohmboys - push f3 mixerwindow :battery channel 3-4(hihat) choose send fx( you can toggle between inserts and sends )- send 1 choose ohmboys .Returnchannel of the delay is on the very right side of your battery channels.
