Their is CNN and their is Al Jazeera , and both showing different perspectives of same war.
And I think Al Jazeera is winning. Truth always wins.
CNN is one-sided and comes from only an American perspective.
Any comments ?
How do you think is media effecting your views?
Do you think they are being fair?

Both are subjective and biased. Think about it. Would Al-Jazeera really be for the US on the war... and would CNN (a dominantly liberal media firm) be supporting the cause that Al-Jazeera have?

IT’S NOT WHAT THEY SAY - IT’S WHAT THEY DON’T SAY! -
The US Media have pretended to cover Operation Iraqi Rape, better known as the War on Iraq. They have never acknowledged that this has been far more an invasion than a war. The American TV media have distorted facts, reported numerous unsubstantiated stories, taken the White House at its word without investigating the facts, omitted pertinent facts or portions of stories and have accepted the role of being an informercial for the Bush administration and for their own corporate sponsors. This bias has become more and more apparent as the Iraq invasion and occupation progressed. In its coverage of the events leading to and including the war in Iraq, the US media have misled the US public as never before.

There is a huge assumption that Al Jazeera is truthful as well.
When you can corroborate that Al Jazeera is truthful without a doubt, then you'd have an arguement.
Until then, trust no one...(especially media)

It's all about ratings, not the truth.

The left accuses CNN of complicitly propogating the "lies" of the American government, while the right accuses CNN of being just another instance of that nefarious, America-hating "liberal media".
