2 Quick Cubase questions, please

1. Where is my 'snowflake' freeze button? I see it in the training videos, but it's not there for me... What gives? EDIT: Nevermind. it just looks like it's moved since the videos were made. Still need an answer to my 2nd question though. Thanks.

2. How can I create a 'layer' channel? For instance, I have a layer of 2 bass sounds that I want to play the same MIDI part. How do I set this up?

Thanks guys!

Use MIDI sends.

Thanks, Digi... Mind hopping on IM to explain further? I'm such an annoying noob.

Same way you use audio sends. It's pretty self-explanatory when you look at the panel - you just tell it the tracks and corresponding MIDI channels to route to.
