Moral Orel

Ok, so I just watched "Moral Orel" on adult swim.....and what the hell was that? there was only one good line in the whole 15 minutes, and it was "Santa knows that anyone who stays up late are jerks". and really, that wasn't even all that great.

wtf, why was it rated TV-MA? so disappointed

but the X-Mas episodes of Futurama are always a good laugh.

Yeah, I just saw this too... Easily the single most disappointing, weird, disturbing, depressing, and just straight up weak piece of programming AS has ever aired...

AS is really fuckin' up lately. Stroker & Hoop, Boondocks, and Moral Orel have all just been absolutely awful... Unwatchable even.

Edit: And I don't even understand HOW it was supposed to be funny... At first I thought it would be pure satire, but then I just got confused by the whole adultery/divorce/iligitimate child/family breaking up on Christmas/Mother being a bitch storyline...

Yeah, see I love Futurama (Have all but one of the DVD sets) and Family Guy is good (hit or miss for me sometimes), but I really, really dig ATHF, Sealab, and Robot Chicken, and with a track record like that, I was really hoping for more, and all of the other shows I listed above have come as HUGE disappointments... I mean come the fuck on, anime about black stereotypes?
