Delerium feat. Jael - After All (Svenson and Gielen)
Astral - Now & Forever
Lennox - Flyin' Amongst The Stars
Paradise - See The Light (Kenny Hayes Remix)
Darren Tate - Prayer For God
Danny Howells - Breathe (Cella Dwellar's mix)
Max Graham - Automatic Weapon
Btw, what mp3 player did you get in the end?

There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

iAudio X5V, the one without radio. Quite nice, it has very clear and powerful sound.
I always thought 'System F - Exhale' was good for this.
When the main riff kicks in, even though it's just a lead melody it seems to fill the entire spectrum. Then when the kick and bass come back in, it still seems to be crystal clear.
Obviously you'd have to have the proper album version for it to be a fair test, because it's been expertly mastered.

Would a 320 mp3 rip of it do? Kind of hard to play CDs on an mp3 player.
