Parents just moved to Baltimore...

Actually a little north of Baltimore, Towson!

Anyway I am here for break and I ain't got shit to do. I don't know anyone, I don't have any friends, I don't have anywhere to go... so I'm bored out of my fucking skull.

Pretty much been sitting on my ass watching the football games and listening to every damn liveset I have.

Please help me out someone, where should I go, what should I do... any hot chicks around???

ohh well holler back!

feel your pain bro - went through the same shit almost 3 years ago...
I'd say lets grab a brew, but I'm up in Maine until the 2nd. This time of year, it's hard to say where to go for a just a good night out, but here's my skinny on the b-more scene this time o' year

-Fell's Point - good on off nights (mon-wed, also sunday outside of football season). Thurs-Sat is extremely crowded and loud. Some good dive bars to just chill in. Max's is good for happy hour (100+ beers on tap), but can be extremely crowded and overpriced regular times. Duda's is good for a brew and some eats - they always have some specials going. I personally avoid the Green Turtle.

-Federal Hill - my area of choice for a 'night out'. Mad River is haunt of choice, but more so during the summer. Mother's is a decent bar too (try to get upstairs if it's open). There used to be a place called Sky Bar (Lounge?) that was great, but it had a fire over the summer. I don't know when/if they'll open again. I generally avoid McGurks (sp?) - just a bad vibe, far too crowded, and it takes an eon to get a drink. There's a lot of other good bars within a two block radius.

-Mount Vernon - Brewer's art is great (get the Resurrection Ale). Other than that, I don't frequent that area.

-Patrick's (patricksofpratt.com) the oldest Irish bar in the country. Older crowd, but well worth it once you meet Patrick. Trust me on this one.

Finally, if all else fails, you can always resort to Uncle Larry's Fine Establishment of Fine Finery.... ask for Lola

Happy Hunting
