I'm trying to get rid of my Telus phone. I want to go with Rogers, mainly because of their phones SIM card capability, but I'm stuck in a Telus contract until 09/2007.
So I'm offering the plan and phone for free...just pay the $25 to switch my contract, and its yours!
The plan is a FIDO MATCH IT 45 plan..essentially a FIDO plan but on a Telus network.
You get:
-350 Anyime minutes (up to 250 of those minutes can be used for LONG DISTANCE CANADA).
-Unlimited nights and weekends (evenings after 7:00 pm, not 8:00 like most plans!)
-Caller ID
-Call waiting
-Call forwarding
-Voice mail (expanded voice mail)
The plan is $45 + the caller ID/voice mail....+$6.95 mandatory access fees. The total is around $68.00 with taxes and everything. It's a great plan if youre on the road alot, or make calls within canada to family and/or customers.
The phone is the Samsung SCH-A650 flip phone. Nothing too fancy, but its a good solid phone with a colour screen, and fancy ring-tone capability. Phone is 100% fine working condition, with a few minor nicks/scratches.

yes, telus is CDMA, not GSM/GPRS.
The contract expires Sept 2007..so thats a bit more than a year and a half....(or a bit less than 2 years...depends on how you wanna look at it!)
It's a great plan, especially if you do a lot of long distance calling and/or daytime calling.
Also, I think with Telus, you can just call them up and switch plans whenever you want to, and still remain within your contract terms. So if you dont like the plan, you can just change it!

Hope Telus switches to WCDMA or UMTS.
This country needs a provider with some sort of 3G backbone!

Soundwerks, you should ask Telus to give you 350 more minutes. 350 + 350 bonus = 700 for $45.
Thats what they're offering now. They give it to existing customers as well. This might make it easier for you to find someone who is willing to take over your line.
And if you want a Rogers phone, come see me. I work there.

350 more minutes? I dunno if they'll do that...I mean, it's 350 anytime minutes, with up to 250 LONG DISTANCE minutes included, PLUS free nights and weekends after 7pm (not 8pm like they have now)...so I think it's a good plan for the price already!
I'll ask em about the bonus 350 mins...but I doubt they'll give it to me.
Which rogers store do you work at? I'm planning on going to Rogers...
