Enemies & Allies (Dooflex Records) - REVIEW

“Enemies & Allies” is a brand new compilation from Doof’s sub-label : Dooflex Records. This compilatio compiled by Nitro (Gil Dagan) & U-Recken (Yaniv Ben-Ari).

1. U-Recken VS Nitro – Forever Noma
Yaniv and Gil decided to open this comp. With one of their tunes together.
The track give an atomic beginning to this hallucinatory trip – lovely playings and some cool vocals which come together with the massive base line.

2. Loud – Beautiful Day
The tune start with some female screams and later get in a slow base line.
The main issue on this track is the special vocals & effects and the mysterious atmosphere which felt all over.

3. Mahamudra – Her Sister
I was a bit surprised when I saw Mahamudra’s tune here because they usually produced soft full on music but this time they changed the style a bit.
The build slowly untill 04:22, and than the madness begin, this one can easily groove any dance-floor.

4. Profile – Vintage Moves
An excellent tune here ! a lot of danceable beats with a groovy base line and slat kick. I really like the concept of this track – perfect for the dance floor.
Good work !!

5. Nitro – Analog Spin
Gil is back, this time alone without Yaniv. Here you can find more groove and a fat kick. This one will spin you for sure so prepare youe legs and your asses J

6. Zion – Solar Storm
Massive track with Zion’s energetic base line. This kind of tunes can give an awesome atmoephere for any party and make people dig like there is no tomorrow.

7. Mekkanikka – Acid Fly
This track is closer to the full-on genre – more melodies, emotions and playings. Very good track for the late hours of the day, also the namehave meaning (when you hear it, you’ll understand).

8. U-Recken - Achilles
Now Yaniv show us his skills and he do it well. Melodic track with intersitng story behind, it more calm then Yaniv’s other tunes but still it’s a good one.

9. DNA – Round & Twist
The last track but defently not least. Another powerful track with some nice elements and pumping brake which close this amazing comp with broken legs J
