Dunno whether you're saying it's hot or not.

Either way, I've played with it, have seen it numerous times yet still can't get enough of the sleek, sexy phone that it is. Plus, it's unique opening hinge pwns.

Xbox 360 only if the receiver is under 13 years. No serious person, even less a gamer, could want that.

Or the iPod for those who don't care about sound quality in their mp3 player.

That's only your opinion, my man. With games like Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2 and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, not to mention the slew of sports games as well as the huge arcade of classic games, (attainable through Live) plenty of older people, as well as gamers, would love to pick this one up for the holidays.

Once again, this is your opinion. The iPod is a very well built device. It's definitely a trend-whore item but it also happens to be one of the best on the market. I can only think of a few other MP3/PMP players that are at the same level or better than the iPod.

The sound quality is awful. And isn't that the most important thing?

The layperson can't tell the sound quality difference between that and most other players. Only audiophiles really care about shit like that...

I notice it VERY easily, if compared to iAudio X5. The difference is like a time-space rift.

I hope you have hi-fi headphones, if not then you're not "truly" getting the music in the format you think you are.

I have the 5G 30gig Ipod with Shure E3Cs, works just fine and the quality is good enough, functionality and battery time are exactly whats needed. Nothing superfluous about it...
