Any input you guys? Do you think I'm ready for the clubs? Do I need some more practice? Do I suck and I should sell my equipment on ebay? Heh, Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate,
Just listened to your mix and generally i thought it was ok, nice tracks throughout and i have the following comments as i listened through;
1) The transition between track 2 and 3, i thought the volume was very loud on the Lolo track, it probably needed to be a bit lower
2) The volume of track 6 is extremly high and, i know you didn't, but it sounds like it is dropped and not mixed
3) In my opionion i wouldn't have put track 7 and 8 where you did. They have a very techno feel and thats fine if you are fininshing on an upbeat style like techno. But then the following track is very downbeat compared to the previous two
4) The volume of track 10 is extremly high as it is mixed into track 9 and appears like its been dropped in.
5) Similar to 4), track 11 is very loud and appears you have dropped it in.
6) Just on a general note, once the precedig track is mixed in it seems that the previous one is cut off too early. I just usually let it carry on and very very gradually fade it out.
7) This didn't happen very often but if the beat is not perfect try to make it in line with the track your mixing out. Try not to let it run offbeat. This is probably being a bit picky as it only happendd twice i think.
I know this looks like a long list and i hope you see it as positive feedback, but i hope you don't get too downhearted. I thnk it was a very nice mix but with a few tweeks could be an excelent mix. As for if you are ready for clubs yet only the promoters will tell you that as to whether you get any bookings!
Good luck anyway
Martin C

Thanks I really appreciate your feed back. As for the two mixes that sounded like they were dropped in I did that on purpose. I had the tracks mixing while I faded in the highs and mids. On the new phrase I dropped in the bass. I love that shit. Just my style I guess. I agree the volume was to little high, but the track I was mixing in had a harder bass line as well. Thanks again for your opinion. I will put more focus on the volume. Later bro
