[Melodic] 4am - A New Beginning

This is the best piece I've ever completed. If you listen, stick it out to the piano. Best piano work I've done to date. I also appreciate any reviews left here or on Acid Planet.

I'm hoping to get my song near the top of the charts on AP.

Thanks for listening

-Heather

After your success with Resonant Dreams, I had to listen to this one.

Nice drum loop at the beginning. Holds off on the bass energy until later.

Once the trance loop hit, I'm feeling very inspired by that choral sound. I know it's synthetic, but I really find it fitting to my ears.

Brassy strings are always fun...

Yes... the piano is AWESOME... this whole mix has a strong chill-out signal to it. This piano is no exception, and it's got some soul to it...

Plucked leads a commin'... fairly standard, but this groove still moves along.

Something tells me that the kick coud be a tad stronger. It's heard, yes, but it lacks some solidity.

All in all, phenominal work. YOu didn't dissapoint.

I too loved your last song Resonant Dreams.
Now, this song is really relaxing, most of your songs are!
My favorites are the piano and the saw lead riff.
Only thing that I would do different is the lead coming in at 3:00, could use more stereo delay. But it definatley does sound good as it is.
Keep up the good work!

/By the way, that ACIDPlanet site is awesome. I'm going use it too!

Thanks for the replies. I'm #2 in the melodic trance charts over there. Hope to hit #1 for the first time.

for melodic trance this really hits it. nice piano, I like how the traditional piano sound comes in sometimes.

Hiya Bad Girl

like the intro, sounds quite clean :> but you should leave some lowend on the kick even if you want to flatten it, I think

but uhhhh I love that first break, the bass is very nice and the synthie is sooo mellow very nice.

cool piano sounds like Robert Miles (which is 100% of the time not a good thing, but this one makes an exception)

nicely done breakbeat.

the buildup sounds quite cool, hmmm :>

nice pitch bend on that effect

overall review: A generally nice track, with very beautifull piano, the only thing that bothers me a bit is that it sounds too standard for my taste...
Anyways you did a great job, Heather!
