Thanks I use a 20D, and I use a flash with a unique diffuser.

diffuser??sorry i am a complete photo noob....every time i try to take a photo of a club or party, i get that stupid "who turned the lights on look"....turning of the flash will get rid of this??, or do i need a diffuser????
